New restrictions for international air travellers to Canada

Every major Canadian Airline has agreed to cancel service to the Caribbean and Mexico after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau implemented new restrictions on international travel last Friday with a promise that more was to come. Air Canada, WestJet, Sunwing and Air Transat have all suspended service to Southern destinations until April 30. In addition, travellers coming in from outside of Canada will only be able to touch down in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto and will have to be tested for COVID-19 and wait at a government-approved hotel for three days for their results. Travellers who test negative will then have to quarantine for 14-days at their home. While we love to travell, we recommend spending the next year in planning and dreaming mode, before it’s safe to get out and explore again!
